Wings are sure small compared to how they used to be. Now a full order is 14 not 15 wings. Same price Also appears natural cut fries are gone. Server said "mixing up menu" Looks more like go with less quality for who wouldn't want natural cut fries? Basket of fries also appears to be half to 3/4 compared to what it used to be. Same price. Too bad. FT used to have the best darn wings and fries. Skimpie BW3 looking now. Boooo

This place has potential: two pool tables, pinball, darts, big buck hunter, even a racing game. Unfortunately they found ways to disappoint. Onion rings could have had more crunch, but what was truly disappointing was the serving size. I have seen larger portioned free samples. Ordered a bloody mary, didn't get a single olive. Didnt get any vegetables at all (or even a glass as big as the one in the photo). To top it off, the pool table didn't dispense every ball. But at least there aren't stains all over the felt. Oh wait... yes there are. And no chalk in sight. Lucky to receive two stars, Freddy. Prospective customers: dot your i's and cross Freddy T's off your list.

Went here Friday night on the recommendation of some family members. This is a little sports bar tucked away in a strip mall. Nothing fancy on the outside. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hostess who sat us. There is no shortage of TVs in this place! Fortunately, the Royals were playing and the place was hopping! I ordered a 1 pound triple burger with fries. The burger was very juicy (ordered medium) and was very flavorful. They toast their buns which is an extra bonus. The fries were delicious. They appeared to be hand cut and had just the right amount of crispiness to them. For a sports bar, the food here is great! In fact, the food quality here surpasses many restaurants! The special this night was a steak dinner for $16.99 which I thought was an excellent deal. Saw a few people ordering it and I have heard from others that the steak here is really good. The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is because I thought the noise level was really high. (Even for a bar). But, the Royals were playing the Cards and it was pretty busy, so not totally unexpected. I am sure it normally isn't that loud. I would love to come back and try the steak. Highly recommend this place! Great for kids as well with a great kids menu.

I come here to eat wings. It is a dive and I don't quite get how they operate. But I do really really like the wings. Especially the blackened ones. They have crammed as many tables as they can in the place. The bar sticks out. No place to wait. And the worst part is the door locations. If it is winter, you wait up front and freeze your tail off. In the second room, they have door for people who want to go out side and get cancer. So that door is opening up all the time to where you get the benefit of the weather AND smoke. But hey, it's nothing fancy. It's a place to go. It's generally very busy. And I like there wings.

I used to come here all of the time to play pool and enjoy their beer. The last few times I visited I had the worst service. The older man who bartends was always extremely rude. When we asked for our check he ignored us, told us to wait because he wanted to slow dance to a song with another server. We had to wait 10 min for our check. They had been taking shots that night which is very unprofessional to do on the job.

Good food for the price. Our service was very friendly and fast. Our burgers were both cooked properly and the corn nuggets we ordered for an appetizer were very good!

This is a good place now... what do I mean by that? Well now that the smoking ordinance is in effect you can actually see in the place. It has a large number of tv's and my kids like going. The Burgers and wings are very good, the other nice thing about the place is that you can get in, you would never know where in a recession by the restaurant lines in Johnson County. Go at 8:30 on a Friday and catch the kareoke (however you spell it) its a french word that means make an ass out of yourself.

Freddy T's is the kind of place that is a destination spot, its situated directly behind a McDonald's in a strip mall and its not the kind of place you would just wander into. I doubt the patrons mind this. The atmosphere indoors in dimly lit and I imagine this place gets packed for broadcast sporting events. The staff is personable and very prompt with beverage refills. Moving outdoors to the patio provided a much more comfortable way to enjoy the day, company, and libations. WARNING: Do not walk out on your tab. You will be remembered. For a very long time. While this did not apply to me it did to a gentleman attempting to stroll in during my visit. A large shouting match between said gentlemen and bartender moved out to the parking lot and just when physical violence seemed imminent the defendant hopped in his beat up Grand Am and rode off into the sunset. The bartender informed us he skipped back in December. Not the kind of place you bring someone you're trying to impress, your immediate family, or small children, be advised. When it came to pay the bill (and you best believe I won't ever forget to do that here): Strong Ketel & Soda+ 2 MASSIVE beers = $13.00. Nice. We couldn't have gone to a movie for less then that and this was far more entertaining.

Great food, great service and ice cold beer. Our favorite place to go with family and friends. Best sliders and burgers in town.

Hadn't been here for several years, but thought we'd try it out since smoking is banned indoors. I was amazed they are still in business, given the rudeness of the staff and poor quality of the food. We had 10 people in our group and we were told basically to go somewhere else, despite the fact that the room was over half empty. Due to the lateness of the hour and wanting to stay close, we made the mistake of throwing our money away at a poorly run, badly smelling dive bar with an attitude. The waitress either had a severe mental impairment or it was her first day. She didn't know what types of beer they had on tap, didn't know what type of wine (Chardonnay? Umm I'm not sure) nor scotch (I don't know, what types are there?), and was the rudest person I have ever met. The food was mediocre at best, which is fine for a bar, but coupled with the demeaning attitude of the staff and manager, made for a terrible evening. The patio must vent directly into the restaurant because we all came home reeking of smoke. I would check out Coach's, Lewwellyn's, Paddy O Quigley's, or any one of the many sports bars in the area before I would go to this disaster of a dive bar.

We tried going to Incredibowl down the street but it was closed for an after-prom party so we ended up at Freddy T's to avoid driving anywhere else. The atmosphere seemed fun at first, they had karaoke going and there weren't many people but the other patrons seemed to be having a good time. The fun stopped the minute we ordered our first drinks. The bartender stared at us blankly as we ordered our beers, didn't offer up a smile or any information about specials. When we asked about specials he shrugged us off to a neon sign by the door. We laughed it off and apologized for missing the sign, still no smile or welcoming vibe from the bartender at all. We went and got a table so we could order some appetizers. We were met with yet another sourpuss faced, blank staring waitress. We shrugged it off, thinking she just needed to warm up to us and see we were just looking to have a good time. As we ordered our appetizers, mozzarella sticks and queso, she still had a stone cold stare. After she left to put in our appetizers, the three of us quietly commented on the attitude and wondered maybe we had come in too late and they were closing soon- which is what prompted us to ask how late they were open- which we learned was for another three hours so clearly the attitude couldn't be chalked up to having late comers keep them open later than usual. We got our burned mozzarella sticks a few minutes later, they were pretty bad. The queso was good. We also ordered chicken tenders which were good but the fries were bland and lacked any seasoning or flavor. Our friend had a burger and he said it was good and flavorful, his fries were also very bland and unseasoned though. We continued trying to have fun, hoping our server would lighten up and at least crack half a smile. It didn't happen, and we decided to leave because we felt so unwelcome. We stopped back at the bar to order a round of shots, the bartender also still couldn't manage to greet us or smile or give off any sort of friendly or welcoming vibe. We decided to wait the next 20 minutes outside for our cab- no drinking and driving for us- just to get out of the unhappy workers line of blank stares. I've never been to a bar that was so unwelcoming and unhappy to be making an extra 80 bucks (at least) on what looked to be a rather slow Saturday night for them. Not sure if this place is family owned or not... Seemed to be as the workers seemed to be so miserable doing their jobs as if they had no choice but to be there. Anyhow, we won't be going back. The karaokers were fun and the karaoke dj was good but the staff was so unwelcoming it was hard to justify spending any more money or time in there. Get a staff that likes to interact with people or that can at least manage to smile and you may see an increase in business.

This is a nice little sports bar located in the back of a strip mall. It is very easy to overlook this spot. Just so you know its a sports bar, there are a lot of TVs all on different games and sports channels. The inside is quite dark. When I was here, it was during off-hours so there weren't too many people inside. Ordered their sandwiches, all of which were good. The French fries were great. Their menu is basically standard bar food, lots of sandwiches and the like. Price on the sandwiches and drink ended up about $11/person. They serve breakfast items on weekends until 2:00. If I was less hungry at the time, I might have gone with one of those items. I am rarely in this area, but I might stop in next time I am in the area.
